High quality is the guiding principle underpinning the Group's activities, a principle inspired by its long tradition of excellence, creating a competitive edge which translates into stronger loyalty and greater brand perception.

Quality entails the constant commitment of every person working for the Group and a capacity for continuous innovation in order to achieve ever-better results and to keep our promise of great flavour and wholesomeness - a promise to which each product bears testimony.

The first step is a meticulous selection of raw materials and a constant control of their quality over time. By choice, we do not use GMOs in any of our production cycles. We co-operate with our suppliers in implementing continuous inspections of the raw materials and dozens of checks are regularly carried out across the entire production chain.

This stringent system earned the Group its UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 quality system certification awarded to our plants in Petrignano di Assisi (Perugia), Fossano (Cuneo), Valle Lomellina (Pavia) and Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (Florence) as well as British Retail Consortium (BRC, issue 5) certification awarded to the Petrignano di Assisi (Perugia), Fossano (Cuneo) and Valle Lomellina (Pavia) units, International Featured Standards (IFS, issue 5) certification awarded to the Petrignano di Assisi (Perugia) and Fossano (Cuneo) unit, British Retail Consortium (BRC, issue 6) and International Featured Standards (IFS, issue 6) certifications awarded to Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (Florence).
